Practice Reviews

We provide quality practice reviews for large and small firms, government departments, legal aid and other organisations.

Reviews cover areas such as:

  • business acquisition and client engagement
  • dealing with critical dates and deadlines
  • file handling
  • people management

While reviews can be adapted to suit a client’s needs and requirements, they usually involve:

  • the practice completing a questionnaire
  • a practice visit to assess systems, files and work practices and interview staff
  • the provision of a report with specific observations and recommendations for improvements
  • a subsequent visit to assess the implementation of the recommendations

The process provides an opportunity for clients, with the guidance of an outside facilitator, to objectively identify areas of risk in their practice and assess and make targeted improvements in their practice management.

The reviews also identify areas of excellence which encourages staff to maintain good practices and high standards.
